You don't get it. If you've followed the trajectory of this war from the beginning, one thing would be abundantly clear:
Ukraine isn't the one who has to "win" this thing. Russia has to win it. They have to force Ukraine to relinquish their sovereignty and become a puppet state like Belarus. That was the goal in 2014, and again in 2022. And it remains the goal now.
All Ukraine has to do is hang on and not lose.
We're wasting our breath here with these posters...
I wonder if they argue that Vietnam lost... or that the Taliban lost...

It’s hard to imagine anything like a real estate transaction happening right now on Crimea.

But that was way before modern arms technology.

US startup's FPV drone detection system is tested in Ukraine – photo, video
Andrii Konyk — 23 June, 18:46
A prototype system to detect enemy first-person view (FPV) drones designed by US defence tech startup Surtr has been tested in Ukraine.
Source: Brave1, a Ukrainian defence tech cluster
Details: The technology is AI-powered. The system combines data from acoustic and optical sensors into a unified map so that aerial assets can be detected and tracked in real time.
The US-developed solution was tested as part of the Test in Ukraine programme.
Quote: "The test results demonstrated a good level of technological maturity for a prototype. The developers have already received feedback from Ukrainian military personnel and Brave1, which will help them further develop and adapt the system for real combat use."

If tweet fails to load, click here. "There is still no sign of fuel returning to gas stations. The situation is quite dire. All the officials' vehicles are out of service. Everyone is cutting back."
Oleg Kryuchkov, an adviser to the so-called "head of Crimea," said it remains unclear when gasoline sales on the peninsula will resume.
According to him, only emergency services are being supplied with fuel, while ministries and municipalities have been limited to a single pool car each.

All of Russia's problems are getting worse (manpower, liquidity, equipment, logistics, fuel, political support, allies, etc).
Several of these also apply to Ukraine

Well Russia isn't going to win it in all likelihood but Ukraine is still screwed

Audio and optical have their limits, but unlike radar, they are passive systems that don't broadcast their own location.
