Still targeting any air defense radar units. Top priority.

Trump is just torturing Vance now. JD thought those anti-Trump videos from 2016 were forgotton. Wrong again.

More from the same presser:

quote:

JD Vance: "One of the things I find fascinating about Pope Leo is he chose the name 'Leo XIV,' which of course is recollecting Leo XIII. Leo XIII was Pope during a time when incredible industrial transformation led to the rise of fascism and communism in Europe."

He looks rather sad, doesn't he? Too late to jump JD, you've already been pushed.

The stalemate on the front lines benefits the Ukrainians, who only have to hold on. And since they've taken the lead in the political, financial, and technological fronts all they have to do is hold the Russians off, though it will take a while.

Oh, you and I agree 100%.

If only, Vol. If only I could get you to accuse me of stolen valor in real life.

Anywho

I'm trying to figure out Warburg's background. He's wrong most of the time except when it's the extremely obvious.

Naftogaz is a Ukrainian energy company. The 1.4 was clearly held in Khazkhstan, probably in a Credit account originally which must have been hit with a lien as soon as the war broke out. Great planning. The Master Strategist strikes again.

A Kazakhstan court allowed forced recovery of $1.4B from Gazprom in favor of Naftogaz under an international arbitration ruling. Naftogaz said this is the first public foreign court decision enabling enforcement of the arbitration award in a separate jurisdiction, marking a new step in Ukraine’s campaign to collect compensation from Russia’s gas monopoly.

Virtually all major oil refineries in central Russia have been forced to halt or scale back fuel output following Ukrainian drone attacks in recent days, Reuters reports.

The combined capacity of refineries that have fully or partially halted operations exceeds 83 million metric tons per year, or around 238,000 tons per day. That accounts for around one quarter of Russia's total refining capacity, according to data and sources who spoke on condition of anonymity.

238,000 M/tons = 1.7 million bbls.

Unmanned Systems Forces commander Magyar said 10 major Russian oil sites were hit in the first 20 days of May, with 6 forced to halt operations. He listed Moscow, Ryazan, Perm, Kirishi, Samara and Tuapse among stopped or partly disrupted facilities, while Primorsk and Yaroslavl also temporarily halted. He said several oil pumping stations were also hit in Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan and Yaroslavl regions.

A good examination from the Russian side on the rapidly evolving drone warfare.

Fedorov and Zelensky meet with Palantir CEO Alex Karp

quote:

“Ukraine's long-range strikes on Russian targets cannot be viewed solely as a problem of air defense. An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or missile is just the final link in the chain.

2/ “The main work begins earlier: reconnaissance, accumulation of digital traces, analysis of satellite and aerial photos, comparison of open and closed data, assessment of the vulnerability of objects, and review of the results of previous strikes.

3/ “The danger lies not only in the UAV itself, but in the entire system that helps to understand in advance where, when, and with what calculation to send it. Ukraine's 35-year-old Defense Minister, Mikhail Fedorov, openly stated that cooperation with the American corporation Palantir has given Ukraine tools for analyzing aerial strikes, artificial intelligence solutions for processing large amounts of intelligence data, and the integration of these technologies into long-range strike planning.
quote:

“The point is not that the American program itself chooses the target. The purpose of such systems is different: they allow to quickly collect fragmented information into a single picture.

6/ “Satellite images, UAV videos, surveillance data, interceptions, information about the repair and restoration of objects, repetitive routes, the results of previous attacks.

7/ “For long-range strikes, it is crucial to understand what function the object performs, how it is related to production, logistics, or energy, how quickly it is restored, and what effect a repeated hit will have.

8/ “Palantir here acts as a data processing and linking environment, while the Ukrainian system Delta provides a unified picture of the situation, linking UAVs, sensors, units, and strike means.
quote:

“In fact, this is an attempt to turn war into a continuous learning cycle: collect data, label it, train the AI model, apply it, measure the result, and improve the system again.

Fedorov names factors giving Ukrainian forces an advantage

Oleksandr Shumilin — 21 May, 12:36

Ukraine's Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov believes the disabling of Starlink for Russian forces and the use of middle-range strike drones have been important factors that have helped slow the advance of the Russians.

Source: Fedorov at a meeting with journalists on the results of the ministry's work

Quote: "In addition to the work of Ukrainian forces and other factors, the disabling of Starlink for the Russians in February 2026 played an important role. The Russians have still not been able to find a full replacement for it and this gives us a critical advantage on the battlefield.

Another important factor, among others, was the development of the middle-range strike capabilities. We began actively procuring middle-range strike drones and today this is one of the main technological advantages on the front. We deliberately placed our bet on this area and that is why we are seeing results. A clear pattern is already visible on the dashboards: the more the enemy is destroyed at operational depth, the fewer assault operations take place on the front."

Details: Fedorov said Ukraine has already managed to significantly slow the Russian advance and is "gradually seizing the initiative".

Quote: "Today, every kilometre of advance costs the enemy disproportionately heavy losses. In October, Russia was losing 67 troops per 1 sq km of advance. By January, this had risen to 165, then to 244 in February, 254 in March and 179 in April."

The strategy the Nazis used to defeat Gr Britain. The strategy the Allies used to bring the Nazis to their knees.

It didn’t work then and it isn’t working now.
