Russian media is saying that Europe has truly descended into darkness and unable to afford Christmas lights, near the end of this clip

I'm not following. `is he saying that the Russians actually have 700k in the war zone while they claim 2.2M? Or is he asking if they actually have 2.2M mobilized when they claim 700k?

He's claiming 1.5 million are history

The plant in Yefremov is one of Russia's largest producers of synthetic rubber. It is considered strategically important for Russia's defence industrial base, as it manufactures dual-use materials.
The synthetic rubbers and polymers produced at the facility are used to make rubber components for military equipment, including tyres for military lorries, wheeled armoured vehicles and aircraft.
Of particular importance are the polyisobutylene additives produced at the plant. These are key components in specialised fuel and lubricants and hydraulic fluids used in the engines of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and artillery tractors. In addition, the plant's products are used in the manufacture of sealants, insulation materials for military electronics and anti-corrosion coatings for weapons.

Here's an in-depth look at Ukraine's new defensive fortification line in the Donbas. Note they are using the term 'barbed wire' when what is actually being used is concertina.

That Nork quality control... They have run out of the older equipment / ammo that was manufactured in Russia and China decades ago. Now the new stuff is home grown in North Korea... "Compressed rice"...

- A lot of parts fell off — even the breech block. - The shells and propellant charges have a significant variation in weight—both the shells themselves and the powder charges—so each one is weighed and sorted.

The difference between charges from the same batch can be as much as one kilogram.

from another interview half year ago, russian soldiers said NK ammo is better than Iranian Ammo, and Russian Ammo r the worst, so if both interview r fact, then its a interesting situation of quality between ammo and cannon

Look at that liquidity, 3.63T in repos and liquidty still in free fall. Note the listed rate of 16+%. That's not a repo, that's desperation. On one hand, CBF must maintain artificially low interest rates for political reasons, on the other it's pumping trillions into the banks every week. They've lost control now.

An explosion in Moscow on the night of December 23 targeted a police vehicle parked in the same lot where General Sarvarov was recently killed. According to early reports, an explosive device was thrown through the car window. Two police officers were killed, and two others remain in critical condition. Authorities have not disclosed who was behind the attack.

Russia's economy is at risk, and the coming year could prove pivotal for the war — WASHINGTON POST.
- Russia's reserves are depleted, sanctions are hitting oil and banks, and 2026 could bring a financial crisis.
- Russia's position is currently weaker than ever since the start of the full-scale war. The Kremlin has spent most of its cash reserves and borrowed funds that allowed it to finance record military spending.
- "A banking crisis is expected. A payment default crisis may also occur. I don't want to think about the continuation or escalation of the war," a high-ranking Russian official told the American publication.
- New sanctions imposed on the oil sector deliver a decisive blow to the country. Due to restrictions, Moscow is forced to sell oil at a discount of more than $20 per barrel, and oil and gas revenues, which are critical for the budget, are decreasing.
- At the same time, military spending in just the first three quarters of this year has already reached a record $149 billion. The oil industry is sinking into crisis, and the latest sanctions will accelerate this process.
- Even Russian bankers are sounding the alarm over the growing level of "bad loans" (overdue loans) hidden in the banking system.
- High interest rates, which have now fallen to 16.5%, have begun to curb inflation, but they still destroy corporate profits and cash reserves. As a result, investments have stopped, production in some sectors has sharply declined, and the number of defaults across the economy has increased.
Finally, there's this>

On the scale of incredulity, this is far down the list for Russia.

More info on the Dec. 21-22 attack on the Taman oil / LPG loading - storage facility.
quote:
On the night of December 21, Ukrainian drones struck key infrastructure at Russia’s Taman port. Video analysis by Cyberboroshno confirms direct hits on two tankers: one suffered damage to its bridge, while the other, likely full of oil, was hit at its transfer hose. Multiple port piers were also targeted, including direct impacts on Pier 3’s supports and visible fires near the oil storage terminal onshore.

the LPG pier
This makes more sense than previously mentioned LNG. Just by pressure drop from a pipeline it can be liquified without need of large field erected cryogenic tanks required for LNG storage prior to shipment
