4 Ukrainian infantrymen walking bunched up get erased by a Russian FPV shadowed by a quad drone.

2 Ukrainian soldiers sitting in dugout are killed by a Russian fiber-guided FPV that flies directly inside the dugout. High resolution.

FPV tech is backfiring on Ukrainians. Now Russians don't have to spend 100s of 152mm shells to knock out a small dugout but send a fiber optic FPV with a 1-2 kilo charge strapped to it.

I think these two videos above explain this phenomenon. 20k Ukrainian troops deserted in just September. Although I take that number with a grain of salt b/c many of those could be MIA who were buried in the trenches and just unaccounted for.

U.S. helps Ukraine strike Russian oil refineries – Financial Times
12.10.2025 12:55
U.S. President Donald Trump deepened American support for Kyiv following his July conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, amid growing frustration in the White House over Russia.
According to Ukrinform, the Financial Times, which cites informed sources, reported the news.
One indication of this deepened support has been the transfer of U.S. intelligence to Kyiv.
Through the sharing of intelligence data, the United States has for several months been assisting Ukraine in conducting long-range strikes against Russian energy facilities, including oil refineries far beyond the front line.
U.S. intelligence is helping Kyiv, in particular, to plan routes, altitudes, timing, and mission parameters that enable Ukrainian long-range strike drones to evade Russian air defense systems.
One U.S. official said that, initially, Ukraine selected the targets for its long-range strikes, after which Washington provided intelligence regarding vulnerabilities at those sites.
According to the source, the United States has also identified priority targets for the Ukrainians, adding that Ukrainian drones have become a “tool” for Washington to weaken Russia’s economy and push Russian leader Vladimir Putin toward a negotiated settlement of the war.
The intelligence sharing marks a new indication that President Trump has deepened his support for Ukraine as his disillusionment with Russia grows.

Source: Ukrainian Ministry of Energy
Details: The ministry reported that "last night the enemy again targeted Ukraine's energy and gas transport facilities. Energy infrastructure in Donetsk, Odesa and Chernihiv oblasts was damaged."
Rescue teams from the State Emergency Service and energy specialists are working to stabilise electricity supply as quickly as possible.
Background:
On 12 October, a nighttime Russian drone attack disrupted electricity and water supplies in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Odesa Oblast.

It's so funny to hear some "America First" supporters make fun of "neo-cons," as President Trump is now on the verge of accomplishing most of the goals that neo-cons once had, especially in the Middle East. Assad is gone, Hezbollah is neutered, Hamas is losing control of Gaza, we bombed Iran and destroyed their nuclear facilities, Israel has diplomatic relations with most of its neighbors, etc. And a lot of the credit goes to Trump's Jewish son-in-law, who was the one who got this peace deal over the line.
As the final details of the Israeli-Palestinian peace are being implemented, Trump is turning his attention back to Russia and Ukraine. And he's going to do what it takes to get Putin to be willing to make peace. That's why we're now talking about Tomahawks and giving Ukraine help in striking Russian energy targets.
It's crazy, because the Russia-lovers on here, along with Tucker and his ilk, have screamed about WWIII and the dangers of escalation in ways that make Jake Sullivan look like a desperate warmonger.
But President Trump has now turned far more hawkish on Russia than Biden ever was.

Incorrect. The intelligence sharing is nothing new and has been going on since the start of the War in 2022. A New York Times article back in April showed we have been helping Ukraine with strikes inside of Russia. This is nothing new

intel is now real time and includes targets not included during Biden administration (longer range, refineries, etc)
AI Overview
U.S. intelligence on Ukraine is not made public in real-time, but recent reports confirm a significant shift in U.S. policy in October 2025
. The Trump administration has authorized providing Ukraine with intelligence for long-range strikes inside Russia, marking an expansion of military support.
Shift in intelligence and military support
Targeting Russian infrastructure: The U.S. will now provide Ukraine with real-time targeting intelligence for strikes on Russia's energy infrastructure, including refineries, pipelines, and power plants. This policy is aimed at pressuring Russia's war economy.
Considering advanced weapons: The administration is considering supplying Ukraine with long-range weapons like Tomahawk cruise missiles, which could reach deep into Russian territory. No transfer has been approved as of mid-October 2025, but the possibility has drawn warnings from Russian officials.
Reversal of earlier policy: This move marks a change from March 2025, when the U.S. paused intelligence sharing and military aid to pressure Ukraine into peace talks.

Russia apparently concentrating on rebuilding their tank reserves for a larger war down the road. Putin had depleted their reserves and left them short.
If history repeats itself they will
Purchase 1000 tanks but only get 500. The oligarchs will skim what they can.
quote] Key Takeaways
The Russian defense industry is implementing long term efforts to increase T-90 tank production and recreate Russia’s pre-war tank reserves, indicating that Russia intends to present a long term military threat to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
Recent open-source data indicates that Russia is also increasing its refurbishment of T-72 tanks, possibly for use on the battlefield in Ukraine in the short term or to reestablish its tank reserve to threaten NATO in the medium term.
Russian forces are still using tanks to advance on the battlefield during infrequent mechanized assaults when Ukraine’s drone defenses are degraded, indicating that tanks remain and will remain a relevant weapon on the battlefield under proper tactical conditions. Russia may be able to pose a significant threat to NATO on a timeline much sooner than 2036 and without necessarily reconstituting its tank fleet.
European authorities continue to report increased unidentified drone sightings in European airspace near military facilities. Ukraine’s European partners continue to allocate aid to Ukraine and deepen cooperation with the Ukrainian defense industrial base (DIB).
Russian forces advanced near Pokrovsk and Velykomykhailivka and in the Dobropillya tactical area.[/quote
