Well, we know you're of self proclaimed Ukrainian/Russian origin, dumbass. You may have immigrated some while ago, doesn't mean you're fluent in English.

I heard today that the Russians have massed about 110,000 troops around Pokrovsk. I believe that is the name of the city.
Yes, Russia has been trying to take Pokrovsk for almost a year.
quote:
Russia has amassed 110,000 troops in the vicinity of Pokrovsk as part of its efforts to take over the strategic eastern Ukrainian city, the Ukrainian military chief said Friday.
quote:
Russian forces have been trying to capture Pokrovsk for almost a year, staging one grinding offensive after another. But despite having a clear advantage in terms of the number of troops and weapons available, Moscow has failed to take over the city.
quote:
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW), a US-based conflict monitor, said late last year that Ukrainian defensive operations in Pokrovsk have forced Russia to abandon its original plan to take over Pokrovsk in a frontal assault.
quote:
Instead of continuing to attacking the city directly, Russian troops then began encircling the city from south and northeast.

quote:No, we don't.
but in regular spoken language we use that quite a lot.
It's not used frequently because (see what I did there?) using "cause" the way you did is grammatically incorrect.
The word "cause" is a noun which means "the producer of an effect, result, or consequence" as in, a lost cause.
"Because" is a conjunction which means "the reason something happens."

You may have immigrated some while ago

No, we don't.
Who's "we"? 2nd language speaker Ukrainian-Russian shitlib who immigrated to US in the 80s or 90s?
You're in no position to give me lectures on slang or idioms or anything. Shut the frick up, and go be a leftist doormat.

You're definitely not a native speaker.
Narax, is a straight up Ukrainian troll who uses Google translate.
You weren't born anywhere, bitch. No normal person would make an account with "LSURussian". You're an immigrant, that's fine, but stop trying to pretend you're a natural born US citizen. It's cringy.

Actually wait?

Does this get me any street cred?
This would make me even more pro Ukranian than you guys!

HIMARS are legitimate, this war has shown that for sure. We should be tripling our output on them and the other shite that works

You're not good at trolling, do better.

Perfectly happy.
I'm a huge fan of you warning this board that there is probably a foreign troll who constantly posts pro his country disinformation and isn't a native "english" speaker.
And that he shouldn't be trusted, and that no matter how much Americans think they side with the things he says, he means them harm and he thinks they are fools.
I hope they all take this to heart and review the intents of those posting information here, especially suspiciously praiseworthy posts about foreign dictators and Baghdad Bob level verbal fellatio of a tiny European dictator.

Just like when you were posting under your previous screen name, you have a difficult time remembering what you've already posted, Comrade Snitchkovsky.
So where do you claim to live now...Las Vegas or Florida?
And are you still a hospital orderly or are you still unemployed?

Poland ordered something like 500 of them. They really don't want to sniff Russian arses again.
