It's demoralizing for them to lose the original thread and be moved to PT without safe space. You can see how the freedom of speech is upsetting them.

I have a legitimate question for someone. Has Ukraine developed anything on their own that can shoot down that new Russian drone. I believe it is called the Gerand. They don't use Patriots against those do they?

We gotta wait a few weeks to see who actually stays put. Some put on a brave face, but many of them will rage quit because they can't brigade report anyone who disagrees with them like in OT. Censorship is imperative for them, which is why I suggested they got to Reddit and start a subforum there where they can filter and ban anyone who disagrees. It's a nice little echochamber with a Reddit's PC echochamber.

They don't use Patriots for strike drones. This is the most recent Ukraine developed weapon for strike drones.

Unlikely for area/interception but the F-16 has the M61 Vulcan cannon.
That plane should have significant anti drone capability.

You mean Pokrovsk or is there a Petrovsk too? I heard rumors of "massing" but it's mostly coming from Ukrainian telegrams and those are about as reliable as Ukrainian MOD.
Russia's objective isn't to take the land at rapid pace, they don't need to move fast to attrite Ukrainians. For an attritional style warfare they've deployed they make quite a lot of gains, but that's not the objective although it helps in the information space. Their biggest goal is to exhaust Ukrainian manpower to a point of them having to use women and 18 year olds which Zelensky's been sheltering. Once those go to the frontline, it's over for him.
