Y'all need to go watch Newsmax.
They're talking to a fmr Ranger that was contracted to help get some people out in Kabul.
He saw the explosions and says there are reports that men were seen in the area with locals speaking Chinese and other languages.
They believe foreign fighters have moved in.

Does anyone know why we are using Kabul airport for evac and not Bagram?
I served in Afghanistan back in 04 timeframe, but have purposefully ignored what’s going on there now, mostly because it just makes me depressed.
Do coalition forces still use Bagram?

US abandoned Bagram a while back under cover of night, basically ghosting on the Afghanis and cutting the power before they showed up the next morning.
Base is now controlled by the Taliban.
