If tweet fails to load, click here. INSANITY: LAPD guidelines forced police to allow a suspect in a stolen sedan to stop at a gas station to refuel during a high speed chase. To reduce risk to the public they allowed air support to track while the suspect refueled before resuming getaway.

I agree you probably shouldn't shoot up the gas pumps but how about just walking up and throwing some of those tire popping strips down and attempting to take the perp into custody after he hangs up the gas pump.

That car is just like the one I had that I wrecked after being forced off the interstate back in January. Except mine was silver. I'll just say.. there are worse cars to try to evade the police in.
