I lived in Woodstock from 6th grade through HS before going to UGA. I went to school and was good friends with her homeroom teacher for 5th grade, posted the class picture and has lost 3 of them from that class already. Also dated a girl back in the day, whose cousin recently used Laken as a babysitter. Just a heartbreaking situation all around. I know people die every day, but something as simple as arrested and deporting people you caught, could have kept this precious person alive. Terrible

My wife, a teacher, says that's what the good kids with good parents that work with them on handwriting at that age write like.
Just pulled out my daughter's - very similar. Focused more on being "in the lines."
That fact that her teacher posted this as well as a yearbook photo make me believe its real.

If you look closely, it looks like a more mature hand traced over a shakier first version of the story written in pencil. Look at the “u” in “nurse”, for example.
I think the message is more important than the penmanship though and I don’t know how you’d fake that.

I’m as angry as I’ve ever been over something political.
