La Guardia (NYC) issues Ground Stop **Traffic Management Program w/ 41 min delay**

LGA with a clarification, this is a Traffic Management Program with 40ish minute delays and not a full Ground Stop.

Okay so a flight at 10:30 am is delayed by 40 minutes. That airplane is going to fly 2-6 more flights by the end of the day. All of those flights are also delayed. The airports that all those airplanes fly to also have to deal with delayed flights that don't fit into their plan for the day. You know nothing about aircraft routing.

Still remember sitting in bham airport delayed for nearly five hours so willie clinton could get his haircut in NO where I was headed to. He backed up traffic throughout the southeast for hours for a 15 minute trim.

Of course it has. That's why there is a $7+ Billion project in the works to renovate. One of the new terminals opened this month. That has nothing to do with ATC staffing levels. You know this. You're just being dishonest.

The FAA is saying the closures are specifically due staffing issues.
