Who cares if Rosenbaum started fires previously? Why does it matter who started the fire if Rittenhouse was going to put out a fire and then was ambushed by Rosenbaum? Why do prior actions matter?
ETA: Also, earlier the ADA tried to paint a picture of Rittenhouse hunting Rosenbaum and that's why he went in the direction of the fire. If Rosenbaum had never started any prior fires why would Rittenhouse have ever thought that's who did it, if he was hunting him?

All of this testimony is to Kyle's benefit. I don't understand the prosecution's strategy here. It's like they haven't prepared for this trial at all and are doing discovery with witnesses on the stand.

There’s nothing to prepare for. The entire incident from start to finished was captured on dozens of videos including drone footage. You can’t tell the jury not to believe what they can clearly see with their eyes so you muddy the waters so to speak and try and obscure the truth.

That whole questioning segment at the end where he points out the inconsistency in the stories...was he trying to damage his own witness???
