DA directed the detective to not execute the search warrant on Lefty's phone.
this sounds so much like interference of an investigation by city/state politicians

They can keep calling witnesses, but I wouldn't.

Just what I was going to ask, if this would provide enough evidence to pursue.

I've watched a lot of Law and Order, and this seems like one of those episodes that takes me out of the show because it's so asinine.
Yep. It would be hard to sell as fiction because it’s so far out of the realm of real life. And yet, here we are…

My god!! This is as bad as it gets for the prosecution

Did you happen to watch earlier today?

I wonder how close this is to the Durham DA issue?

"Did you ever request a search warrant for the skateboard?"
"No"
"No"

this detective's testimony is just proving this was all political and not based in getting the truth

Chew on that as well Back the Blue folks.
I thought the DA brought the charges? I can't find an article that old at this point to verify.

"I don't personally have it no."
Um, bro how much evidence are you personally keeping?

Just following along here
You’ve got to go back and watch video of this morning. It’s epic. I think it’s worse than this by a fair margin. All day has been the prosecution watching one after another witness implode and impeach themselves.

So the Criminal Complaint was already drafted up before the Police even finished their investigation. WTF!
That's what happens when it's a political witch hunt by a DA with an agenda to push.
Justice has absolutely zero to do with this prosecution.
This is about destroying the ability to use a firearm in self defense.

For black folks it's still about police shooting a thug.
frick the blacks and the white liberals who think this way. Thugs shoot thugs every fricking day... NBD, they just wake up and shoot more the next day.
I wish there were more Herschel Walkers, Shaqs, and Candace Owen types out there that could pull the blinders off those addicted to the Dem plantation.

Malicious prosecution.
The prosecution seemed to bring up the detective as a bit of a "mouthwash" witness, someone harmless to bring up to clean the taste of Gage Grosskreutz's prosecution-damning testimony out of their minds.
Instead the defense is using the detective to double-down on their skull-fricking of the prosecution.

Remember how people were claiming Kyle had no leg to stand on for malicious prosecution?
Yeah, I think he has a strong case after that.
