The defense attorney should easily be able to destroy this.
I can tell you it's really hard to hide your boner when your are being gifted such material for your close. When the other side's case is riding on the jury believing them/their client and you get to show how they repeatedly lied to them, it is very effective.
It's likely why there have been no objections to even the most egregious statements.

Where the frick is the defense with objections?? How can they let him get away with calling it illegal possession of a firearm when it wasnt? And it was struck down by the judge? Just terrible defense

They tried at the very beginning, with the opening slide, and the judge shot it down by saying you'll have your chance to talk about that.
