Unusual. So I’d want to get more information If I was the parent.
Most posters on this board would want to know more about what happened.
But, we know that's not how it works. I guess white kids are supposed to be more picky about their friends?? That's certainly what they are going to accomplish with their bullshite accusations.

What's odd is no one saw anything.
Hence the drowning. If someone saw him struggling, there is a good chance he doesn't drown.

The phone was discovered on the boat and brought to a house party where Wells was supposed to be. He never showed. That’s where I believe the family friend went to collect it from the friends.
The girl didn’t know the specifics around how he was getting back. Assumed it was with friends.
This all makes total sense that he would have left a phone on a boat (either accidentally or on purpose while in the water). The other kids noticed it and said: Hang onto it until he comes back later.
Guy did not show back up later....they report him missing.
Meanwhile, the mom is all like: "How come there are no snaps! This is all very suspicious!"
Because he didn't have his f******phone with him!

death is unusual
What’s more unusual
A. A drowning where an intoxicated person couldn’t swim well enough or got caught in rip tide
Or
B. A vast conspiracy between this kid’s friends to murder him and cover it up

Murder On The Orient Express but exponentially larger.

I guess VOR, a lawyer, thinks a “Get Out” type event may have occurred on Horn Island

Wait, is this true?
And all he can do is drive by shite post without discussing anything?

Of course he is. Every black person involved at this point is looking for attention or money. They don't give a shite about this kid. Or thousands of others who we know die of violence.

That's (D)ifferent.
They are truly soulless people.

Chicago? There have been more black on black murders in MS since this happened. Some with people killed the same age as that guy. Barely a mention at all. No rally's, no bullhorns, no matching shirts, no marching, no chanting, no shits given.
If they got as stirred up about every actual murder as they have for this drowning, there would be some actual progress in this country.

I'd say it was true. VOR is old and had some serious health problems like 10 years ago.

I've seen just a couple of views on this - but - IF the 'boys' had the kids cell phone when they got back to shore without him - and IF they tried to delete some of the messages and gave it to someone else and didn't report that they got back to the shore without him
something just aint right here -
yep - all that could be made up - BUT I have heard no rebuttal of any of it yet.
And I hate Crump et al with a rage that would melt Antartica - but I have read the 'facts' above before any lawyering got involved.
Ima gonna sit this one out until the facts develop more fully.

This screams of nothing more than using your son's death to make money. Disgusting. Even worse than Carmelo's parents using gofundme while using some of the money for their personal benefit.
Neither of know enough facts to reach a well-reasoned conclusion about the incident itself.

NIH,
your avatar's life's work is an inspiration to us all.
BTW, I have often criticized Mr. Crump to friends and associates...

Any attempt to seriously discuss would be frustratingly futile.
Nobody here can let go of the Ben Crump angle.

Is that any different than you completely ignoring it?
