As always, I only posted the truth: Trump's DOJ speculated in a legal filing that the Kennedy Center might have to be destroyed if Trump didn't get to do whatever he wanted...including having his name on the building.

The Kennedy Center has been under the control of Chairman Trump and his Board for almost a year and a half.

It's absurd that the President of the United States made himself the Chairman of his handpicked Board. Doesn't the President have more important jobs?
Once he accepted responsibility, however, isn't Trump...uhm...responsible for the upkeep over the last 18 months? Who else was supposed to provide enough basic maintenance? Congressional Democrats?

After inspections it was said to be structurally damaged. Yeah it was used 18mos 2 years ago...
No one knew until it was structurally inspected.
The recent roof inside damage was caused by a storm, wind and water damage as up north had a 3 feet of snow long winter...then add all the storms, hail, rain.
Does common sense escape you in full TDS? Who cares if donors will pay for it, and want Trumps name on it. He is an excellent construction manager.
