Your story has changed. First you said he didn’t pay her anything, NOW you’re saying he paid half up front. People don’t do business out of the kindness of their hearts. Hey retard, by the time she pays attorney fees and spends time a d effort for 2 years to go to court it's like 20k. She ran a successful business. That's not worth the time and the headache. Clearly, you've never sued anyone. It's not like he broke her business. He's just a piece of shite loser and more people should know. I doubt any business would take a consignment for 50K worth of merchandise that they knew would be personalized without getting it pre paid. No way any business would accept that risk without money up front. Just does not happen in the real world. That amount of money would have to have some contractually signed documents to back it up and some form of guaranteed payment. An order for goods without payment is just an order and not filled unless money changes hands.

Your mom is not a good business person. You ALWAYS get a sizable deposit when you have to make a large investment to provide a good or service. You should get one slightly more than the cost of the raw material or item you're re-selling. Because you'll have interest costs involved.

However, your story makes no fricking sense because you claimed Katt Williams walked into your mom's place and gave her 50% down on thousands of dollars worth of work with the INTENTION (your words) of not picking up the finished product.
That would frick over both your mom and Katt Williams. So it obviously wasn't his intention.
That would mean Katt Williams is a deadbeat who doesn't handle his business properly and who hurts other people -- which might be true -- but it doesn't mean he walked into your mom's store with the intention of scamming her.
Tell the story straight and stop being an emotional bitch otherwise you undermine your own point.
