Kathy Tran (VA Abortion Fan) tries to explain

She’s foul.
She blames republicans for surprising her by actually suggesting there may need to be some limit on the ability to kill a baby while the mom was giving birth.
I cannot get over these people.
Foul arse attempt to rationalize with no attempt to suggest that it’s wrong to kill a nine month old baby in the birth canal
PS Kathy. You don’t stand with women if you are not going to stand by her if she is delivering a baby she may have to give up for adoption, or who may be special needs, or who may be raised in less than ideal circumstances.
You advocate for women by supporting them when they decide to stay home and raise their baby, encouraging them when they return to work because motherhood is hard as hell, advocating for assistance with post partum depression as PART of the standard follow up after overwhelmed mothers deliver, you fill in for them in the office when their husbands have cancer, you support the decisions they make with their families and their lives. You are strong for for your fellow woman, when she can’t be strong for herself. You don’t rationalize murdering a live baby minutes before it’s delivered because the baby may be inconvenient. You just don’t.
EDIT: and video evidence that she’s even more full of shite than we thought.

Listening to her testimony on this is absolute gold.
She clearly knows that it’s reprehensible legislation, yet jumps thru every hoop known to man to avoid publicly owning it.

Read on another site that a Planned Parenthood Lobbyist wrote the bill, and handed it to Tran to file. Tran couldnt explain the details of the Bill when asked to elaborate on its contents.

“Doc - I know I’m in Labor and all, but I don’t want to go through with this delivery any more. I need you to take the baby out and you know.... use sufficient force to make sure it doesn’t survive”.
I’m trying to figure out a real world example of what this would look like. I would think in this day and age, that by that point, that a doctor could save both and the mother and baby, and wouldn’t be forced to choose her life or the baby’s. I just don’t see that happening.
