I think he is but I also agree with her when she says he’s very smart. I think he plays people a lot too.
She and her family are very concerned with what he might say. They should be. He knows the inner workings of that family and is probably the only man with enough power and money to survive spilling the secrets.

1. Those are her kids too and I would imagine most mothers would be wary of leaving small children with a man clearly in thrall of a manic episode.
2. He doesn't have his kids anyhow. He's off in Big Sky country finishing an album, kids are with their mother or more likely a series of nannies in LA
3. The only person who is suggesting that she's trying to lock him up is the person clearly in thrall of a manic episode. As you may be aware, delusions of people coming to lock them up is a common occurrence among such folks

I’ve known entertainers and most of them could be diagnosed bipolar as appearing manic is common

The function of the message is PR and she has a billion dollars and a publicist on staff, she probably hasn't written any public facing copy for herself in years. It would be crazy to do so.
