Indeed they have- in Jones they said you couldn't be continually tracked without a warrant, and they said the same thing in Chatrie. It's only a matter of time before they do the same thing for Flock and Axon cameras/drones/videos/personnel tracking.

Let's assume the cameras are installed and accessed by law enforcement when there is a crime. Assume the cameras then help solve a homicide, kidnapping, multi jurisdiction theft ring, take your pick. Take it a step further, you or a close relative or friend is the victim. Do you agree with their usage now?
Now assume there is no crime. No reason to look at the cameras, no privacy issues? Assume you aren't a criminal, no one is looking for you or your vehicle. These are license plate readers, not what people on this board describe as big brother watching you. There is a difference. So go ahead shake your head at me whilenI enjoy they first hand knowledge that the good they do over rides the conspiracy theories surrounding them. An as I've said before, a positive tool when properly used.

But why stop there? Ankle monitors do the same thing for all, by tracking every movement. We can also attach microphones to everyone to make sure they are speaking safe messages. Taken a step further, political thought can be monitored too to make sure it's safe. Dissension and sedition can be dangerous, these people need to kept in line.
All of these keep people "safe" too. /Satire

This is either incredibly naive or incredibly stupid.
Do you really think that's all they are? Do you really believe the only thing they can look up is a license plate in one location, with no other information?
I ask because Flock themselves on their website state they do far far more, and that's before we dig into the real capabilities.

For a moment I was hoping you knew what you were talking about. All I asked was if you actually knew what they did after trying convince us all it does is read a license plate, and you run away. Flock's website says they do way more and suddenly you've had enough internet for the day.

Yep. I remember a person who had their car stolen. The detective needed her smart phone. Upon receiving it, he simply said, "These are our best friends."
So you're saying we no longer need defense lawyers because everything the flock cameras and operators do is 100% legal, by the book, constitutional.
