Beyond that, what weapon does a soldier use that requires batteries?
Also, isn't there some lag time for solar? The soldier would have to unroll the panel, hook it up to whatever weapon requires energy and make sure the panel is pointed at the sun.
To advance, the soldier would then have to pack up the solar stuff before moving.
A simple battery won't require the extra steps.
There's so much stupidity in what is being said by this regime regarding the military. It is very disturbing.

Actually, you are both the dummies here. With a generator (solar or otherwise) you can get by with very small batteries. However, if you don’t have a solar panel you can carry a small hand-cranked generator like they did in WW2.
