Mueller’s fence sitting conclusion is one of the biggest bitch moves I’ve ever seen. It’s also genius because it dropped a perfect little time bomb right into Barr’s lap.

No matter how you spin it, the letter was meant to tell congress what the top line findings were. And that is what it did.

And Barr offered Muelelr a chance to review it and he declined.

Isn't this a little disingenuous to say..? Mueller provided Barr with a summary (with redactions) and requested that it be released because he had concerns about his summary.

If you want to do mental gymnastics about top line findings vs summary be my guest. It's quite clear that it was intentionally misleading.

Both of these sentences are true but one is accurate and one misleading:

"Mueller was unable to conclude that Trump obstructed justice."

"Mueller was unable to conclude that Trump obstructed justice because it is DOJ policy that a sitting president cannot be indicted."

Mueller said nothing in Barr's letter was inaccurate or misleading, and was upset that the media coverage wasn't negative enough

Boo-hoo, Bob. What a pussy

Yeah, along with the fact that Mueller couldn't find any collusion. As for obstruction, who can blame an innocent man for being witch-hunt for 2.5 years?

It seems that the angry Democrats on Mueller's team consider defending against being burned at the stake as "obstruction of justice."

Meanwhile,

It took months after the Steele pee pee dossier was used by the FBI to obtain FISA warrants before it was revealed that the entire Fusion GPS/Steele effort was bought and paid for by Hillary and the DNC (illegally under the table by Hillary's lawyers).

Early on, it was known that Steele had Russian connections as his source. What was unknown was how close to Putin Steele's contact was.

Surkov (the source) is perceived by many to be a key figure with much power and influence in the administration of Vladimir Putin. "Steele and the FBI have a MAJOR problem because ...... Surkov is on the sanctions list."

Hillary and the DNC conspired with the Kremlin to influence our election and tried to cover it up while falsely accusing Trump of what they themselves were guilty.

This is not why, actually. They could not conclude Trump had obstructed justice at all.

Here are my principal conclusions: 1. Attorney General Barr has deliberately misrepresented Mueller’s report.

Why do they care how he represented it when almost the entire report is available for top Democrats to read for themselves?

And by a miracle, none have.

At least you can admit that Trump committed a crime

Now say it with me: "I don't care that Trump committed a crime."

Is that so hard?

Did you miss where Mueller documented instances where all 3 elements of the crime were present?

I did. Please educate us. Where did you get your legal training? Because you are taking some dramatic liberties with what Mueller’s report says.

I keep hearing the left claim this but I’ve yet to see evidence where he said THE reason he didn’t do anything was because of DOJ policy.

Amash sounds like another McCain or Flake who love to say things that the left will fawn over and worship them. The Dems loved McCain before he ran then attacked him like a bunch of mad dogs when he got the repub nomination. Then when he got plastered he went back to his groveling to Dems and they went back to adoring him. He didn't ever care that they crucified him.

Amash is done next election.

Bmy is ignorant. The report does specifically say that Mueller was leaving it to the AG to determine if there was obstruction. It Never says there was obstruction. It never says indicting a President was the reason for not going after obstruction. It simply lists instances of alleged obstruction that were investigated. It made zero legal conclusions and was painstakingly clear in that.

Any claim otherwise is a lie or based in ignorance.

Similar to liberties taken in "Trump said there were good white nationalists in Charlottesville." Healthy sized liberties we're talking here.
