the number of conservatives on this thread who have no doubt screamed to high hell about "red flag" laws and the like who are suddenly FOR such laws is a little concerning. that said, the huge number of posters weighing in in support of 2nd amendment absolutism is great.

If a trans person does not fit either of those two criteria, should they be allowed to possess a firearm?

Probably, but I'd say it's pretty obvious you're a mental defective if you can't figure out what gender you are.
That said, there's no way the USA can lose here. Either this goes through and we're all protected from the insanity of trannies with guns, or the Democrats successfully defend gun rights in court. Win/win.
