Lsupimp. Your words ring so true for all of us who knew Ben in life. Thank you for your kind words about him. And to anyone wondering, his kids are being shared these posts about their Dad.
They love reading the kind words being said about their Dad. I would as well if I were a kid.

Chrissie you have been a warrior and I hope that you get these messages. BC is a TD Legend and an inspiration to me. Let us know how we can help in any way. I hope that The Peace That Surpasses All Understanding covers you and your Family.
Thank You Bedhog for your Posts. It is a Sad Day.

Rest easy, Ben. Strong until the end. You are healed. Pain free. I pray for peace and comfort for those of us you left behind.

I have been praying for comfort for Ben & strength for his wife & children.
I will continue to keep Bens family & friends in my prayers, may they find peace & comfort knowing that Ben knew his Lord & Savior.
“Love is stronger than death even though it can’t stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can’t separate people from love. It can’t take away our memories either. In the end, life is stronger than death.”—Anonymous

His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Another day has passed, and this still isn't easy to digest.
I have a really difficult time with people prematurely leaving for the afterlife.
It's not because I'm a nonbeliever... I believe in the Almighty and his plan for us all. I believe Ben will be at peace and be more able to affect all our lives from his eternal, Heavenly home. I actually envy his new life. I just hate that his old life had to suffer so much beforehand.
It hits close to home for me because I have a family member who is stage 4 PC right now. He has only had a slight decline in his prognosis over the last 6 months and has actually outlived his estimated expiration date by 4 months and is still fighting and hanging on.
Thing is, he is losing the support of his closest earthly ally. Or, has lost it completely. He walks with GOD and finds his peace in faith, but it sucks that someone who should be 100% with him and behind him, has basically turned their back on him completely.
Sometimes your worst enemy is the one you've given your entire life to for 50 years.
It makes me much more appreciative of what Ben had. Chrissy stuck with him until the end. His whole family, and his TD brethren stuck with him through the end. I detested the end of Ben's earthly story but I still am grateful for GOD's promise, and that Ben is now without suffering and sorrow and pain.
To those angels on here carrying our messages to Chrissy and the family, please tell them we love them and that we can never know how well they did how great Ben is and was, but we all loved him as our brother. He will be greatly missed.

You are remembered with love here, Ben!
Corinthians 15:54-56
When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”
For Chrissy and kids: I’m wrapping you up in love and lifting you up to our Father. May you find comfort and peace.
Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

I will continue to add Crissie, family, and friends to evening prayers as I have since reading the news of Ben's illness. I pray that they focus on the love and joy they shared and this helps them overcome the sadness of the loss of his physical presence. My prayers for Ben have evolved from remission to strength to freedom from pain. I now pray that he helps watch over us all.
