Just so we are clear - Any person that showed up to that protest and went on capital grounds would have had their life ruined even if they were non violent. Threats of arrest - FBI watch lists - Actual arrest. No amount of larping or thinking thats a good thing will ever change that. Never - ever ever ever - Go to a right wing protest in a liberal state - especially one that leans 95pct left.

He beat the shields or an officer? I’m not suggesting either is ok but all I can find to support the claims are still shots of his raised baton that were taken from behind a raised shield. He doesn’t look close enough to have hit the officer. If him striking the officer is on video, why isn’t that the still that has been released?
Does anyone have the video?

There is two sides to every story and in most cases - Our own biases are seen different by others. In most cases - the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Going to the protest and getting violent wasn't a very wise decision especially as a previous felon in DC of all places. He was the perfect candidate - Former military - felon - The DC goons couldn't have wrote a better script to hang the fake insurrection on. As for Ed - He did his time for the 2nd time . Hopefully he's learned from those mistakes. And this is with the knowledge that the cops were shooting pellets and other items into the crowds - They also played a part in how it all got rowdy.
