You’re reaching for straws/rationalizing his intentionally deceitful presentation to compensate for your TDS. If you watch the whole speech it’s blatantly obvious he’s trying to portray himself as a combat vet

I’m not going to watch the whole speech. I have added the tweet with the video that someone else posted with the 60 second clip where he makes the statements about being in the national guard and standing or the tarmac.

Unlike it is portrayed in the tweet, the two statements are NOT made back to back. Similarly, unlike the false thread title - which Chicken should force the op to correct and the OP should have the ethics to apologize for spreading misinformation - walz makes no claim that he was “stationed in Iraq”.

So if you want to talk about something bring “blatantly obvious” and an “intentionally deceitful presentation”, then call out the OP in this post and the person who posted on Twitter.

As for Walz, at least in the 60 second clip, what message is he trying to convey and who is he really trying to make look good and sound heroic? I’d say it’s our fallen soldiers, the guys that didn’t come back.

Have we discussed Vance cross dressing yet also?

Even if he did say this who cares?

Politicians lie. Republican, Democrat, Green Party doesn't matter.

You support Walz? Why? Be specific.

This seems to be your little stitch on here.

Did I say anything about supporting Walz?

No, I called out yet another silly and ultimately false attack/claim being made by Trump supporters, just like the coach “scandal” two days ago.

If you watch the 60 second clip of the speech, it’s obvious in the context that he is contrasting his military service to the service of those who died, not for his own aggrandizement, but to honor the sacrifice of those who died. He’s not claiming he’s a hero, he’s claiming those folks are.

This is just like Trump passing along the fake story about Kamala’s crowd being AI generated yesterday which was ultimately proven to be false.

It’s a pattern that eventually is going to wind up costing Trump.

You’re only lying to yourself. Everyone else here reads English for comprehension.

Don't abuse the mentally challenged.
Amazing how the democrats promote "Leaders" with mental deficits.

Obama didn't know the number of states in the union. His college transcripts were never released.
Biden??
Now Kamala.

this is not some smoking gun that he is engaging in some massive plot to portray himself as a war hero.

A person doesn't need a "massive plot" to lie and deceive others about their service, job, sports achievements or anything else. They just lie. And he didn't do this once when he was speaking without a teleprompter, it's a pattern.

As some have pointed out, what is actually said in the 60 second video varies from the way the transcript reads - specifically that he does not go straight from the sentence that he was in the national guard, to the sentence that he stood on the tarmac and watched the funeral procession.

But I stand by my point- the overall context of his statement is that he is making a point about the soldiers that he is honoring the soldiers that were killed, that didn’t come back
to their three year old daughters.

To any fair minded, reasonable person, that is what he was saying.

I listened to the 60 second video; it doesn't help your case. Forget the tarmac, he heavily implied he was in harm's way. In order:

1. Sentence about serving in the NG
2. Sentence about his daughter being 2 when he left and 3 when he got back
3. Sentence about "I came home, but many others didn't".

Yeah, he came home from Italy (or wherever he went in Europe). Probably his entire unit did; I don't think we had heavy losses there. Take his sentences in a vacuum and he doesn't technically lie, but put them in context and it's very, very clear that he's attempting to deceive.

Bro was gone four days.

I went to work and my daughter was two. I came home and she was three. She was born at 10 AM.
