What are their rules of engagement? Will they be issued live ammo? Will they be told to fix bayonets? Can they return fire if fired upon? Can they arrest and detain rioters? Will they be allowed to use deadly force? If the answer to these questions is "no", then what is the point of them being present? News link: LINK

this is one situation where china gets it right, they dont give two fricks and shoot protesters instead of worrying and hurting their feelings

When you control the media it doesn't matter. Nobody would ever see that footage in China.

Where are all the high tech gadgets that use microwaves and other methods to cause the targets to soil themselves and disperse? I want to see those!

Everyone’s so worried about getting Doxxed and their lives ruined for doing their job And being called racist in the name of restraining these protestors and looters... it’s so sad of where we are thanks to social media

RA and RC Army (as well as Navy, AF, USMC) are Title 10 forces and are barred from being used in any direct law enforcement capacity. Can't even direct traffic as Title 10. Takes very specific actions for this to change. NG under Title 32 status can be used in DLE capacity and arming/use-of-force policies are up to the governor and staff.

Once property damage begins,Encircle the mob. restrain them, process them, and charge the whole bunch with criminal property damage. force them to post bond for release. we get the information of where they are from, their names, and possibly who is paying them. all property owners who had damage file group criminal damage charges and divide the total damage loss among all those captured.

They have a lot of "less than lethal" options, but considering how the mob has overran two police precincts and taken all the weapons, I don't know how that's gonna work. Hopefully once the mob sees the military advancing on them they'll realize this is a fight they cannot win and give up.

What can they do? Ask the protesters at Kent State. What they will be allowed to do is another matter.

I agree that if they are not going to be allowed to use force then calling them up is just window dressing and meaningless.

They need to use that stinky chit that Israel sprays on protesters.

I guess that stuff smells like human feces times ten.

And you can't get the smell off of you.

Its so effective that the mere presence of the machine that sprays it causes people to GTFO of the area,

I'll tell you what they can do....with competent leadership.

ONE...cut cell service to the areas where the riots are going on. How are the thugs doing to function if they can't all post what they are doing to FB Instagram and other sites? Or whoever is pulling the strings can't give them orders? CUT THEIR COMMS.

TWO...If its nighttime, put them in the dark. The pitch dark. Cut power to the areas they are in, the military has night vision equipment, the rioters do not.Sow more confusion.

THREE....Get the ringleaders....the ones with the bullhorns, the leaders, they can be ID'd..Arrest them for inciting a riot, make the mob leaderless. The most aggressive among them too. You don't have to make mass arrests.

Four..Then a show of force, tear gas water hoses whatever it takes, get them running and break them up. This isn't The Taliban out there, without their leaders the soyboys and hangers on will break.

we don't need to spend millions on that stuff

Dogs and water cannons work just fine.

Take their tech away from them. Put them in the dark, and take their leaders away. Then break them.
