The Peruvian skulls were DNA tested...first release info was that they weren't human/of earth...

Now the claim is the test was botched

I mean, it's kinda hard to say there's no evidence when there's a f&%king body (assuming it's legitimate).

this will turn out to be another hoax....you guys are looking in the wrong place for your "aliens"....there is nothing "out there".....they come from somewhere else

If this one is a hoax, at least it's getting looked at by real academics, scientists, and journalists.

and again, I know many will think it is crazy, but I believe that God created mankind in his own image & that after the great sin of Adam, we started DEVOLVING - we only use 10% of our brains - right?

This is crazy. And the 10% statement is not true.

you are correct on that (the 10% thing) - I had always just heard that & did not realize it had been discredited

anyway, the idea that God created a perfect man in his own image & that men have become less & less "perfect" since the 1st original sin is not "crazy"

it certainly makes more sense to me than:

there was big explosion

shite started bumping into each other & planets were formed

on those planets, single cell amoebas started swimming around

the stronger amoebas turned into fish over bazillions of years

some of the fish crawled out of the water and eventually, some of them turned into lizards & others mammals

after another bazillion years, a couple of really smart apes gave birth to the 1st humanoid baby that had less hair and THUMBS!

anyway - it always amuses me when people tell me that religious faith is stupid "because science"

these are the same people that are convinced that if I continue to drive an SUV or use hair spray; the world will freeze/burn

I suppose dinosaur farts caused the 1st ice age???

Many climatologists argue a variety of theories including: that Antarctica's continental drift to the south pole caused some kind of feedback loop resulting in decreasing temperatures; changes in volcanic or activity and/or a major meteor strike could have triggered the start and/or end of the ice age; and the closing of the isthmus of Panama permanently altered Ocean Currents, changing the way heat was distributed around the planet causing cyclical ice age chills and thaws.

I hear you, I was just putting out a snarky response fro people that truly believe that a faith based view of the world & history is "crazy"

I was not commenting generally on your "faith-based view of the world & history".

However, you devolutionary view of man is most assuredly crazy.

I absolutely believe in "micro evolution" or adaptation of species

I absolutely do not believe "macro evolution" (big bang, creation of one species from another)

and again - was using snark...

Isn't macro just micro on a longer time scale?

The leap between bears, horses, and dogs seems pretty vast until you look at the archaeological record showing all of the different forms of each that branched from a common ancestor.

not by a long shot

again, I understand that many people really believe that my belief that an all powerful God made man in His image makes me crazy

don't care

no one really "knows" how the universe/earth came to be

and it has never been proven that one species changes into another

put eskimos on the equator and come back in a few centuries - you will see people with darker skin - micro evolution

does not mean we evolved from apes or a common ancestor

and there is ZERO proof of a "big bang"

anyone that says there is is just lying

or maybe I am wrong, maybe someone tome traveled back billions of years and brought us back the "real story"...

it takes just as much faith to believe that everything "just happened" as it does to believe that there is a Creator

perhaps I am using words poorly - we do know that all species will adapt to their environment over time

there is no "missing link" that has ever been found

I believe that each species was created individually & has changed over time

all of this is super interesting to me, and like I said earlier, none of it affects my day to day life

fwiw - I appreciate the insight & contributions you have made in this thread

That is pretty unfeasible - that it could occur and not leave any traces.

It is fairly easy to imagine. Think of old farm equipment left to rust in the field, it is a pile of rusted metal in 150 yrs. Now, what would happen to a building left untouched in 150 yrs - it collapses. Then what is left after 300? 500? or 1,000 much less 10,000 years? Nature eventually reclaims everything but stone.

The last ice age was 10,000 yrs ago. There wouldn't be much left but layers of oxidized rust or pulverized dust of "modern concrete" which doesn't last in the timelines I am giving. This along with the earlier comment that humans love to be near water.

Maybe it's crazy but how do you explain that we do not know how the Great Pyramid was built?

Until humans figure out a way to travel faster than light, I will find it very difficult to take any reports of space aliens near Earth seriously.
