Check in if you honestly didn't see this coming the very moment he was removed from the embassy and taken into custody.
One of three things has happened:
A) The cabal got ahold of the material backing up his "dead man's switch" and that prompted the greenlight.
B) The cabal found out he had nothing to back up his "dead man's switch" claims and that prompted the greenlight.
C) Assange has cooperated and released all his information to the good guys and will be dead to the world... after some reconstructive facial surgery and absconding to a small island somewhere where lots of shade trees can block the sun from his pale arse skin for the rest of his life.

PS - Not trying to belittle your boy Obama, though. I don't know what to believe anymore regarding Assange but it sounds like the news report saying they were taking him almost a week before they took him; was a test to see if he would use a dead mans switch.
