Does getting her booty call in on the money impugn the whole case to begin with, as she can only do this if there are charges?

And a grand jury will indict a fricking ham sandwich if the DA tries hard enough.

The question isn't whether "some" material may fall under privilege, they were wanting 6 years of this guys friendship covered under privilege too. They wanted to blanket the whole thing.

Under any scope, all this is sketch af. Her Bs reasons for funneling money to a lover, the bs charges, need for private security, lying boldly about him being with her, saying she didn't know the County disclosure laws (as the damn DA),

They tried to take any and everything and roll privilege into it. That doesn’t work when you are friends and convey information that didn’t relate to a relative legal matter.

Black privilege is the only reason this unprofessional, crooked “lawyer” has a job .

Did you hear her talk about the easy money she made being a judge?

It is sketchy but it is a thing in that community, much like Ben Crump saying it is a culture thing for blacks to commit crimes.

Whenever someone gets control over an organization, the temptation is to use that organization’s resources to enrich “their tribe”, either for existing connections or for people they want indebted to them.

Negative ghost rider. Not atty-privilege, no atty-client confidentiality.

Incorrect.

Privilege is an evidentiary exception created by statute that can (as was in this case) be determined not to apply. That does not mean the communication is not still subject to the confidentiality requirements of Rule 1.6.

So reparations? What’s the problem here? Now they can fire that idiot that’s looking into how to distribute the reparations, fat fani already completed that task. Win win.

I thought during the hearing they all basically said the confidentiality part didn't apply

I can't speak to that. I didn't listen to the hearing. But that is odd.

No going to lie.... this has been as satisfying a story to me as watching the FBI investigate Hillary or watching Trump win.

What am I missing?

BTW - not taking the Willis-Wade side, just seems like an odd ruling to me.

I've been watching a good bit of The Lead Attorney on YouTube covering this case (he's an Atlanta lawyer)

He described it as well as possible...

Basically... there's a difference between pro talk & bro talk

I guess the judge determined there was a lot more bro talk than pro talk exchanged between the 2

Watching the hearing I was wondering if the dude was ever even actually his attorney at all. There was no engagement letter, no invoices for his services, and I don't believe the dude ever even had a file for Wade. I got the impression Wade was representing himself and having his partner rubber stamp the documents.

SFP would say that they just don’t know any better.

The next atty I meet that doesn’t make me sign an engagement letter or doesn’t know how to bill me very effectively will be the first.

Fani's other special prosecutor, Ms Cross, has already established that Wade's former lawyer was a liar. I didn't understand her strategy at the time, but now it makes sense. They'll move to impeach the witness so the witness won't have a chance to testify to further undermine Fani and Wade. Hopefully the judge doesn't fall for the trap

Viva Frei (who I love) has a theory that this was a HUGE F’Up by this Cross Lady.

She threw him under the bus and embarrassed him about a settlement. Now he’s pissed. It won’t go well for Fani and Wade. He’ll spill all their dirty laundry and won’t have any desire to protect either of these morons
