Why do you think I supported the high bond for KR? ?

You just haughtily dismissed our concerns about the low bail 5 posts ago....

If he's not a threat to commit new crimes or miss.his court dates (including leaving the country, etc), then I don't care if he's out.

A larger question is if he doesn't commit any new crimes and he makes all this court dates, then why are y'all so upset that he's not sitting in pre-trial detention? After a trial if he's found guilty? Put him in jail for a long time

I'm against the abuse of the bail system, generally.

Pretty sure the 4.0 GPA high school kid that got murdered wasn't a member of the columbian drug cartel. Karmelo isn't going to get assassinated by the family members of this kid. They are decent good people of society, unlike Karmelo.

Because I understand how the state abuses the bail system?

If he's not likely to commit new crimes or miss court dates, why do you think he should be detained prior to conviction?

If he does either, revoke his bond. I'm fine with that.

No

What a silly description.

My lack of hypocrisy requires nothing than the calm of intellectual consistency.

I've educated the board on the abuses of the bail system for years.

Eh, I doubt he's at risk of fleeing or killing again.

bullshite. He’s apparently been carrying around a blade for weeks, so his intentions weren’t “risk-free,” that’s for sure.

I keep thinking of a twin who held his brother in his arms while he died.

No I didn't, there were some people charged for that, a lot were charged for more.

But let's go on. How many j6ers killed someone? Wasn't Ashley babbit the only one killed during it? And not by a j6ers

We know the justice system can't, how many of the blm rioters in Minneapolis got a jail sentence like a j6er?

If he has a prior incident with a knife at his school, does your analysis fall apart?

Is he getting credit for “time served” while he’s at home on an ankle monitor?

You’ve fried your psyche with your pseudo intelligence to the point that you don’t have an internal sense of morals or ethics.

BECAUSE HE STABBED A KID IN THE CHEST WITH WITNESSES. THE KID IS DEAD.

Probability of conviction and danger to the community are elements of bond everywhere. This is a textbook case for pretrial confinement.

No

I'm not a TX lawyer, but almost assuredly no (the opposite is likely true, though, outside of federal detention at least).

Clearly you don't know how many people take deals on cases they could beat due to abuses of the bail system. That abuse is the immoral and unethical part.

I guarantee you Austin’s pathetic liberal dad wouldn’t do anything to Karmelo. He forgave and felt empathy for the thug the next day and told us that the situation had nothing to do with race The man is such a weak sniveling loser. I hate him.

Honestly more liberals deserve this to happen to them. They vote for it and want it with stupid judges
