By the way Judge is not an honorary title and it should not be used when describing her, perhaps use former judge instead, she is no longer the judge of anything.

It would be great to maintain a clsoed absolutist position, but as a practicl matter events are driving the political agenda. It would be wise for Republicans to make concessions on the margins while still maintaining core values. It would be prudent to endorse more stringent regualtions for purchase of weapons which would eliminate some Democrat talking points. Then address the factors which Democrats favor that area also precursors for violence and put the ball back in their court.
