simpler legal question for sfp. Does Fani pay the fine or the county in which she is employed.

Depends on whether the suit is against her office, or her personally. If it's her office, it's taxpayer.
I'm thinking the suit is against her. So it's her tab the bill goes to.
However, the likelihood that she pays the majority of it, is slim. The Dems party will help out in some form or another.

Edit: been thinking about it more, and I'm really starting to doubt that the suit is against her directly
Leaning more towards her office, so county may have to pay.

All these didn’t happen in a vacuum and someone will do a tell all sooner or later. You on the other hand cannot admit you see it because as we all suspect you suffer from the same elitism that these others do.

Bravo.

It's a very strong argument against, at the least, the DS's ability to actually do anything properly.
the FBI couldn't muzzle Latoya. We are going in circles using your own logic. Sorry, no matter how many times you repeat the same tired shite, you're still fricked by your own arguments

Do you understand how a fricking default judgment works?

I do not know all the nuts and bolts of this litigation, but apparently she ignored a court ordered request for production of documents. She has been cast to pay the legal fees of the plaintiff incurred in obtaining the order and the subsequent hearing on the ruling. Unfortunately, this award of attorney fees will probably have to be paid by the taxpayers. However, she has exposed the public to this liability by intentionally failing to properly execute a function of her office. This should expose her to charges of malfeasance in office and prosecution. Nonetheless, nothing will happen unless the Georgia Attorney General grows a pair (which won’t happen).

As I said when this first happened, this is pretty strong evidence the "Deep State", as imagined by many on here, does not exist.

If "They" existed, there is no way such a mistake would be allowed in this case.

I take issue with your "final summary table"

I would rate your Engagement style as 0-1, as all you ever do is try to piss people off.
I would rate your versatility as a 2-3, your thread plots follow a very standard protocol.
You might provide support for your entertainment value by pointing out your favorable/unfavorable likes score.

I do not have a lot of data on the rest of the folks in your list, but you would have trouble working in a large organization. Overall I would rate you in the third staffing quartile

Yeah you file an answer or get defaulted. She didn't file an answer, which, as I said, is the most basic legal requirement. As someone else said earlier, most pro se litigants understand the concept.

Except she did file an answer. The court just found it wasn’t timely and her arguments about faulty service were without merit.

She responded. She made arguments and then lost. She made a calculated decision to challenge adequacy of service and lost. Completely different than not filing anything at all—-a lie you keep repeating to try and make a flawed point.

“They” chose a strategy and the court ruled against them. How is that evidence “they” don’t exist?

LINK to judgment that discusses the ANSWER that Fani Willis filed.
