They were getting too close….
LINK
Ruled by federal judge, Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly - 81 year old judge. Appointed to current position by Bill Clinton
ETA: this story is being updated by Fox on the fly, so it’s not a Block of all payment systems, looks like 2, but appears 2 people on Elons team will have read only access
PS - thought Karoline L said yesterday in the presser that all of them were doing read-only access and none were writing code on the systems

Again, just ignore the judge.

Didn't they do that when the were told not to pursue criminal charges against Trump?

Doesn't match headline.
Limits access as opposed to blocking (plus, the text refers to a ruling on Friday)

The order comes after the Justice Department on Wednesday agreed in a proposed court order to limit access to the sensitive records to only two "special government employees" within DOGE, who will have read-only permission. Kollar-Kotelly approved the motion in a brief order Thursday.
This was an agreement by the Plaintiffs and Trump's DOJ

Dems ignore judges all the time.
Another agency can pull the data and give it to DOGE.
The Dems are scared.
They don’t know whether to shite or go blind right now.

I'm not even sure what you're talking about.

Just like Biden did with his student loan forgiveness edict.

Under the order, only Musk ally Tom Krause, CEO of Cloud Software Group, and Marko Elez – an engineer and former Musk company employee -- will continue to have access to Treasury’s Fiscal Service, but they will not be allowed to make any changes to the program.
So...exactly what was happening all along.
ETA: This is a headline only. Nothing changed.

What is the argument that the Executive can't grant access to anyone of his choosing?
Does this judge approve all employees at Treasury?
This seems like a blatant separation of powers issue.

Yea, it was “breaking” on Fox when I posted it and only said DOGE was blocked and by the judge with a note on the bottom saying this was developing. Fox prolly shoulda waited for more information before posting it on their site lol
