Flynn deserves to have his case thrown out.

A good man like Mike Flynn had his professional reputation ruined and finances destroyed beyond recognition by partisan bureaucrats looking for an easy score against the incoming Trump admin.

Hope the judge does the right thing.

They can pick their poison.

Turn over all the 302s and throw McCabe under the bus, turn over none of them and let the case get tossed, or turn over phony ones and hope the judge doesn’t catch them pulling a fast one.

Honestly, best case for them is refusing to turn them over and letting Flynn off the hook. Throwing McCabe under the bus is one can of worms they don’t want to open but submitting fraudulent evidence will frick everyone involved if they get caught.

It’s one thing to ignore the House of Reps. It is an entirely different deal to think you can tell a federal judge to frick off

There isn’t an excuse the FBI can come up with that will keep the judge from seeing what he requests. He will throw whoever he wants in jail if they think they can refuse

Should be interesting.....

Probably not but it should just based on the merits alone.

Comey, Strozk, McCabe and Yates took advantage of a shaky situation with the newly sworn in Trump admin still trying to get settled in their new offices and positions and so on and saw an opening in Mike Flynn and hit that weak spot hard.

In Comey's own words from the testimony.....

quote:

Comey admitted he bypassed normal White House protocol when he sent FBI agents to interrogate Flynn. “[It’s] something I probably wouldn’t have done or wouldn’t have gotten away with in a more organized administration.“

quote:

“In the Bush or Obama Administration . . . if FBI wanted to send agents into the White House to interview a senior official, you would work through White House counsel, there would be discussions and approvals. And I thought, it’s early enough let’s just send a couple guys over.”

quote:

“We placed a call to Flynn, said ‘hey we’re sending a couple of guys over, hope you’ll talk to them.’ He said, ‘sure.’ Nobody else was there. They interviewed him and he lied to them.” Comey further admitted he did not alert Flynn what the conversation would be about.

Trump's biggest mistake isn't just not firing Comey immediately after being sworn in but not getting rid of as many Obama holdovers in the DOJ and FBI as he could.

This was the prudent thing to do - certainly Comey should have been sacked on day one - the extent of the DOJ/FBI/NSA/CIA malfeasance was not fully know early on.

The magnitude of damage done by that seditious cabal has yet to be identified.

Comey really fooled a lot of people after the election thinking he was a straight as an arrow guy that tried to be fair as he could be.

Against his own interests having his own guy in place, Trump believed the same about Comey and decided to give him a chance to prove himself.

And Comey repaid that gesture with lies of obfuscation about what was really in the dossier, gaslighting Trump about how he was not suspect in muh Russia despite Comey and his pals doing everything he could to treat him like on including telling the world that there was an active investigation on the Trump campaign.

After a few months to mid may, it became obvious to Trump what Comey really was doing. However, Trump fricked up in handling his firing in the most ham fisted and disastrous way possible that made it possible for a special counsel to be appointed.

Which is why I'm hoping Bill Barr will have the balls to do what cowardly Sessions refused to do and that's really, and I mean really clean house at the DOJ and FBI.

If this judge somehow tosses Flynn’s guilty plea after what we’ve learned today, this entire “Russian” investigation is going to come crashing down. See things for what they are. Everything that’s played out before us is a show and the SC/DoJ is pulling the strings. The media only has to focus on guilty pleas, they don’t give a damn that it’s a process crime. Truth be told, the last thing the SC wanted was for any of these cases to go to trial because they’d have to actually produce the evidence that they have spent 2 years hiding from Congress and everyone else.

He should.....given that the Flynn interview was Jan. 2017 and the 302 was "written" August 2017, 7 months later! I just heard that on Dan Bongino's show. I mean, really!? Is there no time frame that FBI agents must complete these?

Hence why they threatened Flynn's family like prosecuting his son.

They were never after real justice, they wanted a scalp against Trump.

Yea, Laura Ingraham just revealed that the referrals made by Grassley during the Kav hearings regarding the leaks from the judiciary committee, along with lying by Sweatnik & Avenatti, have yet to be addressed by the DOJ. Haven't even addressed it.

If true, that’s pathetic. The state agency I retired from had a 72 hour rule. We also had to audio record all interviews so there could be no question about what was said.

In all honesty, it's sort of disappointing that Flynn didn't already know this.
