I don’t totally follow your example, but will give my own.
In my work, I manage sales professionals. Girls and guys are paid base pay equally to do the same job. Commissions set them apart. In my view, there’s no clear cut winner.
NBA vs WNBA. Which one draws more viewers, sponsors, and money? Clearly one is more deserving.
