From pausing vaccines due to miniscule adverse effects to telling people that even if they're vaccinated their lives won't change much... doesn't seem like the government is doing a good job of incentivizing more people to get vaccinated.

Yeah a couple of the drs on the panel were worried about this. They feared any longer than necessary (>3 weeks) would be devastating.

Many had this false hope that people would switch over to either of the other two vaccines without hesitation, which is something I think they completely dropped the ball on for discussion purposes.

They are pausing the J&J but not the other vaccines that have had issues as well.

talked a few people who had bad reactions to JJ vaccine

one lady told me her coworker's husband died of blood clot

no way I am taking that damn thing...

CVS was about to launch it today, glad it got pulled... no good

So he was the one.

FWIW, J & J is the ONLY ONE I would even remotely consider taking.

I got the J&J a couple weeks ago. No issues at all.

And the blood clot concern is there with catching covid as well. My dad was in the hospital all last week with a stroke brought on by Covid. He had already tested positive a few days before, but took a bad turn for the worse which led to me bringing him to OLOL ER.

I took the J and J last week because it was the only one I was willing to take.

AstraZeneca’s vaccine mimics a COVID-19 infection without its life-threatening side effects. Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine also relies on similar adenovirus-vectored tech.

Johnson & Johnson’s and AstraZeneca’s vaccines are the easiest to transport so far—they can be stored for up to six months between 36°F and 46°F, normal refrigerator temperatures.

Both vaccines’ side effects are similar, including potential injection site pain and flu-like symptoms, including fever, fatigue, headaches, and muscle pain

But sporadic reports of blood clotting hindered the vaccine’s rollout, which was temporarily paused. Johnson & Johnson is currently experiencing a similar pause due to clotting issues.
