If I search “Rogan Trump” I only get shorts, 10-15min clips, or people’s reaction videos
If I add “interview” it comes up
I have searched it before (watched about 45min of it Sat morning). Not sure if that factors into my algorithm, but that’s sort of the problem anyways I suppose

YouTube fixed it after Rogan and Elon posted about. OP can update

Kudos to you for expanding slightly your search criteria. I thought everybody did that until they found what they were looking for.

Youtube promotes videos to you individually based on date, views, popularity, and keywords. The lower down the list a video gets portrayed, the less likely it is to be watched by a user.

I am not a computer scientist. And I really don't know what TF are talking about since everyone now can get the the video. What more do I have to be pissed off about when I get to the video all you "experts" say the sinister algorithm was preventing me from seeing? This is a non issue.

Yes people can get the video, but they have to try a little bit harder to find it. You understand this right?
Now multiply that times the hundreds of millions of people seeking to find the actual interview. Loads of people are likely to get side tracked or deterred from seeing the video that they were initially seeking out.
Even a small percent getting deterred means that they kept hundreds of thousands of people from the influence of this interview. Do you understand this now?
There is no reason why a simple search of "Trump Rogan" shouldn't bring you straight to that fricking video.

I just went to YouTube. Typed “Trump Joe Rogan.” Not only was it the first result, it started playing immediately.

Searching "Kamala Shannon" or "Kamala Shay Shay" brings up her interview with Shannon Sharpe as the first result.

OP hasn’t updated yet and since yall aren’t reading, YouTube admitted its “mistake” and has fixed it after Rogan and Elon tweeted about it
So it works now, it didn’t work yesterday or all day until late this afternoon.

It supposed to be fixed now? Whenever I search "Trump Rogan", the full interview doesn't show up in the first 50 videos of the results.

Like I said previously, with how popular the video is and how quickly it amassed millions of views, it should be the first video to pop up if I typed in “Rogan” by itself.
Whatever “fix” they performed has resulted in zero change.

Let me start this by saying I 100% agree with you.
It’s also, at the same time, an incredibly sad reflection on the public if folks just type “trump Rogan” and it’s not there so they just say “frick it.”
Let’s do modicum of work to find out shite people. But yes, they shouldn’t have to. I do agree with that.
