That's a genuine question. I can't for the life of me figure out why the Trump DOJ has been so passive on such apparent crimes as Liz Cheney's admitted witness tampering for the vile "J6 Committee."

I would frame the matter in this context, ABC previously reported that Joseph diGenova abruptly quit the investigative taskforce following pressure from Main Justice to achieve actionable results and not endless process. From experience dealing with these folks, a Trumpian level of frustration is warranted. Remember, the generally accepted DC rule is that no investigative outcome that touches on political considerations will be released within 90-days of an election. diGenova was on a clock, the clock ran out, diGenova quit. It’s as simple as that. All very unfortunate.

Given his departure, it now appears someone else will handle that part. That doesn't mean there aren't crimes here, or that they won't be prosecuted. I'm interested to find out who will be tapped.
In fact, John Solomon told us to expect said indictments to drop sometime after Labor Day, so this could absolutely be a sign that this is the case.
Time will tell, of course, but I have ZERO doubt that we're going to see the fruits of that labor play out in court with all the right people forced to defend their involvement in a seditious conspiracy against our Republic
