The pentagon civilians would support the dims but the vast majority of the military would not. The bigger question is the Secret service. the military isn't removing any president without the aid of the secret service. they would need Seal team 6 to get by the SS.

Joe looked at Trump’s win in 2016 and got it in that little pea brain of his that being a tough talker would be a winning strategy for him, too.
What he doesn’t realize is that it doesn’t work for everybody. Trump is a bare knuckle developer from Queens who has a track record of taking shite off nobody. Joe? A track record of being a paper tiger. People are just laughing at him.
