The two are still best friends, but even Adam now is very reluctant to talk about Trump given that he went on his Podcast a few times. I don't think Adam is pleased either, but I think his relationship with Adam kept him off the Colbert train for a while. I think the birth of his son is what made him snap, not to mention he's buddies as well with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
