This is form over substance to the Nth degree. While it takes only a simple majority in the house to "impeach", there still has to be a trial in the senate. Trump will be long gone before there is a trial but even if there is, it takes 66 senators to vote for impeachment.
That means 16 republican senators will have to vote to impeach. Would you incite that kind of violence (and there would be incredible violence) and your political career by voting to impeach.
So...you merely end up with the democrats giving Trump the dubious distinction of the only President ever impeached twice.
