His neurosurgeon came out and said it was perfect and he had no adverse effects.

The brain is very very sensitive. Seems downright dumb to even say this.
You have no idea how a person is going to recover or not recover after something like this.
Especially at his age where he will already be prone to deterioration.

Someone should go back and ask the surgical team if anyone lost any jewelry, medical devices, chewing gum or a bag of skittles during the procedure
