He was probably a bit late in raising rates post-Covid, but much of the cause of the inflation in the first place was fiscal policy, not monetary. Pumping an additional $5T in thirteen months and artificially restricting supply chains was out of his control.

This board is delusional. Stock market going up was one of the main Trump for President talking points; now it's just accepted as the cost of doing business? Must be a sad life of fear.

Why does Powell get a pass
Inflation was caused by the massive Covid stimulus. Not because of anything Powell did. He could have started raising the rates a bit soon, but massive inflation was coming regardless.
He was correct in raising rates during Trumps first term, and I’d argue they should have been raised even higher. He was smart not to listen to Trump’s calls to keep the interest rate artificially low.

He needs to be fired, prices are down, inflation is down, why not cut interest rates like the E.U. Banks are doing? He says its because of possible inflation via TARIFS, well the data shows the opposite, Trump placed tariffs on China in his first term and there was no major inflation at all, AND all of the E.U. Nations as well as most of the world has tariffs on the USA and that has never been a determinative factor for inflation!!
He's just being a little political punk, just like Roberts, I find it funny that Boasberg rules he can't do anything in Court on Fri. afternoon/eve, and that night Roberts contrives a ruling that is not even on the legal playbooks, he took away a lower courts ruling before they even ruled, LOL, so improper, its UNHEARD OF BS. I bet he told the punk Boasberg, his old college roommate what he was planning to do.
The problem with DC is the Deep State and the Judges think they are the PERMANENT RULERS over the US Citizenry, but God did not elect Trump once, then let him lose ON PURPOSE, then elect him again not to take down this Deep State Crime Org. via Trump and company.
Mark my words, they are acting goofy, odd and strange because they are all crooks wit their hands in the cookie jar, way too many judges have children/spouses being paid through NGO's, Colleges, THINK TANKS etc. that are funded via USAID, which as we all know is a SLASH FUND for CIA Bribery. So, the CIA has them all on a string.
They have to try and act to keep their misdeeds in the dark, but they always fail. And that is because Trump has been anointed by God to free the USA from the Demonic Principalities pushing things on the nation and our kids like Trans, Homosexuality, Porn, Drugs, Globalism, Abortion and Anti God Bigotry at every turn. Trump can not fail because God can not be defeated in any endeavor He so choses, like when He chose to make Alexander the Great the greatest, swiftest victor in history, as foretold in Daniel 10, and 11 which came unto us 300-400 years before he was even born.
Fatty James in New York, came after Trump, BOOM, she got hit with the ole boomerang, the Atlanta prosecution , BOOM another boomerang. You can not touch the anointed, which does not have to mean holy, just the chosen one [for any task God deems to bring to pass]. They are all going down very, very soon, how do I know? Because God always finishes what He starts. BANK IT.
