If CNN was going to bring back Toobin, they shouldn’t have told the public about the Zoom call. They should have pretended he was taking a temporary leave to see his family or something. Or else said he was on temporary suspension without providing an explanation.
Once they told the public what had happened, I don’t see how CNN could bring back the guy. Everybody is just weirded out whenever they see him on TV.
