Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced millionaire who was facing federal sex trafficking charges, has died by suicide in his Lower Manhattan jail cell, three law enforcement officials told ABC News Saturday morning.

I MIGHT believe it is suicide if I see a video of him committing suicide. Short of that, I ain't buying it!

To the he wasn't on suicide watch crowd. If true do you even wonder why he wouldn't be on suicide watch?

The most predictable "suicide" in human history. Happened in real time.

And the folks who "suicided" him will never see the inside of a jail. Not that I mourn for the a-hole, but still.

If you didn't think this was a banana republic before...

Ive got a question and I dont mean it sarcastically, Im just not convinced and Id like to go from the ground up. Im undecided I guess.

Who stands to gain what exactly from causing a dead Epstein? Of course I see the Clintons referenced, but who if anyone else and why?

Anyone he could have implicated. If his accusers were telling the truth, it could be anyone from the Clintons to the British Royal Family.

From Reddit...

This is again based on the speculation that he was a Mossad agent...

quote:

Jeffrey Epstein, suspected of having Mossad connections, was killed on Tisha B'Av, a day to be "destined for tragedy."

u/GrayManTheory

Tisha B'Av is regarded as the saddest day in the Jewish calendar and it is thus believed to be a day which is destined for tragedy. Tisha B'Av falls in July or August in the Gregorian calendar. The observance of the day includes five prohibitions, most notable of which is a 25-hour fast.

Tisha B'Av in 2019 is on August 10th.

quote:

Tisha B'Av (Hebrew: ????????? ??????[a] Tish‘ah Be'av; IPA: [ti??a b?'?av] (About this soundlisten), lit. "the ninth of Av") is an annual fast day in Judaism, on which a number of disasters in Jewish history occurred, primarily the destruction of both Solomon's Temple by the Neo-Babylonian Empire and the Second Temple by the Roman Empire in Jerusalem. Tisha B'Av Francesco Hayez 017.jpg Destruction of the Temple of Jerusalem, by Francesco Hayez Official name Hebrew: ???? ??? English: Ninth of Av Observed by Jews Type Jewish religious and national Significance Mourning the destruction of the ancient Temples and Jerusalem, and other major calamities which have befallen the Jewish people

The fasts of Gedalia, the Tenth of Tevet and the Seventeenth of Tammuz, the Three Weeks & the Nine Days Tisha B'Av is regarded as the saddest day in the Jewish calendar and it is thus believed to be a day which is destined for tragedy.[2][3] Tisha B'Av falls in July or August in the Gregorian calendar. The observance of the day includes five prohibitions, most notable of which is a 25-hour fast. The Book of Lamentations, which mourns the destruction of Jerusalem is read in the synagogue, followed by the recitation of kinnot, liturgical dirges that lament the loss of the Temples and Jerusalem. As the day has become associated with remembrance of other major calamities which have befallen the Jewish people, some kinnot also recall events such as the murder of the Ten Martyrs by the Romans, massacres in numerous medieval Jewish communities during the Crusades, and the Holocaust.

Here's my hangup on that: his implication alone, while good for tabloid material, is useless in a criminal prosecution without a specific victim identifying a defendant in open court. If they have a victim that will do that, and is credible enough, then Epstein serves no purpose. If that victim is not credible to a jury, neither can Epstein help with that. I guess Epstein could turn the govt on to victims who have thus far declined to come forward?

I get he could cooperate and corroborate a given victim's testimony, but again if they'd need corroboration in that way from a risky witness (as far as credibility is concerned) then they probably have a losing case in that particular instance anyway.

This story needs to keep its legs. Even by taking an unbiased approach to this you know something is wrong. No wish someone so high profile should not have had, AT BARE MINIMUM, one set if eyes on him at all times

Now you're talking. And little known fact: 10 yrs ago Epstein retained an attorney to conduct an adoption. The adopted?? Hillary fricking Clinton.

No really, true statement re: estate beneficiaries. They may wanna get that succession done quickly and hide that money very well before those civil suits ripen. Not that I condone that from them.

Haven’t read all 13 pages, but how does this guy, given the high profile nature of the case, have access to anything that can be used to kill himself.

And why isn’t he under constant surveillance.

I’m not generally a conspiracy theorist, but something isn’t right here.
