This poor rube needs to resign after what Trump said about him to the NYTimes. No one with any personal pride would continue in that job after what DT said. I actually feel sorry for Sessions. Used up and now spit out.

I don't agree with much he has done, but if he does resign, he's kinda getting screwed since he gave up his senate position.
He obviously screwed up not disclosing his Russia meetings, but it's hard for me to believe a former prosecutor did that on purpose.
At least he resigned, which was Likely the right thing to do under the circumstances, but that's looking like it will come back on him too.

His stance on asset forfeiture and marijuana alone should show him the boot.

Ha...I'm sure Trump expressed his dissatisfaction to Sessions personally. Sessions is his own man and won't take crap; Trump shouldn't want wusses in there anyway.

I don't feel sorry for Sessions at all. He needs to resign immediately. It couldn't be more clear that the POTUS has lost confidence in him.

I hate all you Sessions haters about as much as yall hate Sessions.
However, He seemed so giddy talking about asset forfeiture that it really made me sick to my stomach. It's one of the most ripe for abuse things that law enforcement has and he was as happy as a pig in slop about it.

Jeff Sessions is a stubborn old man that's stuck in an era that we now look as an abomination as far as the War on Drugs goes and he has no business being the premier law enforcement officer of this country on that basis. It's like he's giving Eric Holder a run for his money in a completely different direction.
He's done a good enough job on immigration but Trump can find someone else that's just as good on it and isn't such a complete true believer in the WOD and authoritarian with asset forfeiture.

Not so sure pride fit's the bill for most politicians.
However the flip side is having enough pride to get even with the loose lipped mouth that roars. After all it's sort of like DT's bankruptcies, he enters into a deal all full of promise, only to end up craw-fishing out before done. This time it's a political appointee who's taken the high road to his low. As if pride with this dude is only a facade and the art of the deal, is to break it, take the money, and run.
Where MAGA is obviously more-about-getting-ahead of a lawsuit, this investigation, and his next ex-wife's attorney. Unfortunately as your leader is so fond of saying , ‘A lot of people don’t know that’.

The Alabama US Senate special election isn't till December. Were he to resign, he could easily jump into that race and easily win it.
