So you believe it's a "bad look" and "damaging to (both teams') brand" when neither LSU nor the visiting team for football games in Tiger Stadium are on the field when the national anthem is played?

When it brings negative national attention down on the organization, yes.

That’s like suggesting you can drop a slur on the opposing team without accountability.
No, it's not anything like that. Not at all.

Better listen folks. If there ever was an authority on being wrong about everything, Damoaner is that authority.

Yes, Landry is 100% spot on regarding this.

It starts with big money donors. Withhold funding and watch how fast coaches force participation in the anthem.

Mulkey has always taken her team into the locker room at the 12:00 mark. Suddenly, when this becomes a national scandal Landry wants to appear like a white night.

They didn’t used to miss anthems . But then they started to. Around a certain time period…

Some of us know that, but aren't supposed to say anything. BLM University is a joke.

Governor Landry isn’t going far enough, he MUST mandate that LSU change its colors to red, white and blue and its mascot to Non-Woke American Patriots.

however it came to be, right or wrong, it's now negative to the brand and correcting it might help.

Like every Republican, he will rail against the petty stuff, but will NEVER have the balls to fix what is wrong with the state.

I hate Republicans so much. At least Democrats are honest now about how they want to frick you over and jail you if you don't agree.

Landry is being negative to the brand, at this point.

Any rational person was told what happened and went "oh man, I was wrong. Silly me" with no impact to "the brand"

Agree, all SEC football teams would be screwed since none come out for the anthem and I'd bet almost all of their basketball teams are in the locker room at that time as well.

In fact they should take it a step further and hire police to monitor the fans in attendance and if they are not standing for the anthem they should fine them $500.
