But to whom is this identity confirmed?

The Leo that picked him up works for me. We can support extra verifications, but that falls into the "graceful perks" category to me.

Thay do. That's why we have appeals processes. But it is less likely that both Law Enforcement and a Judge will be mistaken.

Of course. Why not have an additional judge or two look at this case as well? That will make it even more less likely that there are no mistakes, right?

Is the risk and impact of mistakenly sending someone to jail vs mistakenly deporting them the same? Should we have the same level of oversight for both. Or should it be tailored to the type of case?

Have we really stopped the inflow of illegals?

How do we know?

Yet you said nothing when hoards of illegals invaded America while your democrat friends celebrated it. You even mocked calling it an invasion.

Piss off.

America isn’t the world’s landfill.

So, that's where immigration judges come in, or at least some neutral adjudicator.

Are you assuming that the judges are neutral?

Just another thing they were obviously correct about.

Definitely tailor it. I've already said there is no reason to afford them a full jury trial. Just don't skip due process completely.

Well, this where we part ways, letting the accuser also be the adjudicator. This board has spent the last 8 years or more impugning the integrity of every law enforcement agency in the country. But now we trust ICE agents, who admit making mistakes?

You cannot tailor it to a reasonable level with how we define due process, probably due to the fact that our founders never envisioned us having the problem of an open border where millions upon millions of people sneak in, making due process (by the current definition) impossible for all of them.

You're a reasonable guy but even that dude would have caught shite here if his J6 pardon comments had made their way to this board.

That’s true.

Hmmmm. Interesting thread topic maybe.

I agree with Gardy though. The ones violently attacking law enforcement don’t deserve pardons like a grandma walking around in the building.

Yep. Like I said, you're a reasonable guy as is Judd.
