Sure seems like his career worked out very well. Senator and VP nominee before the age of 40. That’s not a successful career?

For someone that thinks he is so smart, you kinda sound like a nut job.

He should have chosen Vivek.

People don't get elevated despite not being intelligent?
Kamala?
GW Bush? He's not an imbecile but come on.
Biden was senator elect at 29.
Obama?
The list of Ivy League morons is long.
None of those people would be folks you'd go to in order to "figure something out", "solve a big issue in workplace" etc.

What there is false?
I was correct on Fauci right away while ppl here were slobbering him due to credentials.
You all are getting fooled again

ROTC scholarship after high school.
You obviously don't know how f'ing hard it is to get a ROTC college scholarship. Take it from one parent had 2 sons go thru that fun house nightmare.

The Kamala campaign is going to get a ton of mileage out of Vance as he continues to dig his grave deeper and deeper.
Vance just typifies how weird the very online and live in a bubble Trumptards are.
Well, who picked him?

I find it interesting that you bring up Romney's 47% comment because Vance's comment are exactly like that to most voters. Or, even worse Hillary's "Basket of déplorables" comment. And as you well know, both of those candidates lost. "Attack the candidate but don't insult the voters" is an important rule in politics

My cousin got one.
He was the least intelligent in family.
Slightly above average intelligence.
Decent football player.

I happen to think it was a mistake, and I’m no dumbass or rino. Not saying I couldn’t be wrong, and I hope to God I am. But Vance might be too polarizing. Trump has to win before he can maga. He needed a running mate who brings in voters who are not on the Trump train, which I don’t think Vance does. If Trump had picked Donalds, who is just as qualified as Vance, he would be in the catbird’s seat.

Does it make you question Trump's judgement?

The Vance pick wasn't to bring in more votes in the election, it was about having someone like-minded and trustworthy after Trump wins.
But the point is, none of that matters if Trump doesn’t win. And I’m not sure Vance helps him do that. My choice would have been Byron Donalds. A Trump/Donalds ticket was a sure victory. Trump was persuaded by Don Jr. to go with Vance.

If the reporting in this story is accurate then Trump's own pick was Burgum. It is his sons and tech billionaires like Peter Thiel who convinced him to choose Vance. I believe Trump has good political instincts and Burgum would have been far better than Vance.

They wanted a pick like Haley to have one of their folks inside the bubble. I suppose they already forgot that they stuck Trump with Pence last time and he's learned from that.
After the assassination attempt no way Trump picks a GOPe VP. He needed someone they hate more than him

In a way, yes. But nowhere near to the extent that I don’t think he isn’t the right choice to be President. No matter who is President, there are always issues I don’t agree with them on. I’m disappointed if he let Don Jr. influence his decision.

I hate identity politics, but Trump is gonna lose votes for picking a white man who speaks his mind. Should have went with Tulsi or Byron.
