Good.

He’ll look like an impotent a-hole when the veto gets overridden.

That is actually a good thing. That was a terrible bill that would screw up a lot of shite. They will start over with a good bill.

They are 2 votes shy of a super majority to override. Kirk needs to get in there and negotiate something that both sides can live with.

They need to trash it and start over. It was terrible.

I don’t think it gets overridden. Just because you vote for the original bill doesn’t mean you vote for the override. There were a lot of people voting the first time knowing they had nothing to lose. They will now negotiate a watered down bill.

Not happening, governor’s veto has never been overridden. They have to have a veto session and that is quickly killed .

It’s the Louisiana Legislature. They will never do anything “good”, or reasonably calculated to be in the public interest. At least not on purpose.

Are you one of the “our court system will collapse even though almost every other state in the country has these policies in place already and have not dropped off the face of the earth” people?

Just wondering, I would hate for your personal injury-attorney pals and their doctor buddies to forego that extra trip to Breckinridge

Well attorneys have done such a good job with Louisiana’s legal system over the past century so I guess we should just keep differing to the plaintiffs bar and the state agency pay-for-hire mafia.
